Student Career Night with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (2025)
On February 5, we hosted a Student Career Night in collaboration with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) at their headquarters in Nordhavn.
The event was developed in connection with CIP’s recruitment of Student Analysts across their investment teams and gave students a concrete insight into what it means to work in renewable energy private equity.
More than 100 students from Copenhagen Business School, Københavns Universitet, DTU, and other universities joined us for the evening.
CIP introduced their organisation, investment platform, and values, and provided guidance on the application process for Student Analyst positions. Representatives from several of their investment strategies, including the Flagship Fund, Growth Markets Fund, Energy Transition Fund, Advanced Bioenergy Fund, and Green Credit Fund, presented their work and focus areas.
Two current Student Analysts also shared their experiences of working part-time at CIP, offering practical insight into responsibilities, expectations, and professional development within the role.
The presentations were followed by an engaging panel discussion and Q&A session, where students raised thoughtful questions about recruitment, career paths, and the skills required to succeed in renewable energy investments. The evening concluded with networking, giving participants the opportunity to connect directly with professionals and hiring managers from CIP’s investment teams.
We would like to thank Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners for the strong collaboration and for opening their doors to our community. And thank you to all students who participated and contributed to an engaged and insightful evening.
